The two artists arrived in the country through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe, where they shared their experiences and encouraged fellow musicians to take their talent seriously.

Speaking on arrival, Zeze Kingston said many artists should work hard because talent has value and can create big opportunities beyond music.

“Artists should believe in their talent because there is value in it. There are many opportunities to grow business and partnerships between Malawi and other countries,” said Zeze.

Emmie Deeboh also expressed happiness about the experience, saying it helped him learn a lot as an artist and motivated him to work even harder.

“I am happy that I learned many things during this trip. I will continue working hard to improve my music,” said Emmie Deeboh.

Zeze Kingston and Emmie Deeboh were invited to China as ambassadors of a Chinese company that wanted them to help promote and strengthen its business activities.

Their trip highlights how Malawian artists are increasingly becoming part of international business and cultural exchanges, showing that music and creativity can open doors beyond entertainment.
