QASO Drops New Song “ENVY” as Valentine’s Season Heats Up

Malawian artist QASO, also known as Mbali Yakuno Star, has released a brand-new song titled “ENVY,” and it is already catching attention online, especially during this Valentine’s season.



In the song, QASO speaks about jealousy in relationships, using funny but painful lines that many people can relate to. He sings about someone being jealous even of a woman’s clothes and blanket, saying, “She is jealous of my woman’s clothes. She even hates my woman’s blanket. She says it controls me the way it wants. Ayi zikomo, Valentines itipwetekaaaa.”

The track is a mix of humour and real-life relationship problems, making it a song many listeners are sharing on social media.

The official music video has also been released and was shot by Director Tonny from Videogenics, giving the project a clean and professional look.

With “ENVY,” QASO continues to prove that he is one of the rising stars to watch, as he keeps dropping music that connects with people’s everyday experiences.

While several African countries have already unlocked monetization opportunities, Malawi remains behind, raising concerns among local digital creators.
