Well-known Malawian gospel artist Steve Muliya, popularly known as “Wazisomo,” has taken a new step in his spiritual journey after launching a preaching ministry called Grace Life Assembly.

Speaking in an interview with Zodiak Online, Muliya said his decision to start the ministry will help him serve God beyond music. He explained that while he will continue singing, he now wants to focus more on preaching and leading people spiritually.

According to the award-winning singer, this move is not about making money but about answering a higher calling. He said the ministry will allow him to grow and continue spreading the gospel in different ways.

Steve Muliya has built a strong name in Malawi’s gospel music industry through his powerful worship songs and inspiring messages. Over the years, he has won several awards and gained respect as one of the country’s leading gospel voices.

While several African countries have already unlocked monetization opportunities, Malawi remains behind, raising concerns among local digital creators.
