Classic Events, DJ Kenny Hail Massive Turnout at Mount Soche Valentine Show

Organisers of the Valentine’s event, Classic Events in partnership with DJ Kenny, have expressed happiness after seeing a huge crowd attend their show in Blantyre.

The Valentine celebration was held at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel, where music lovers gathered in large numbers to enjoy a night full of entertainment and love vibes.

During the event, fans were treated to live performances from some of Malawi’s popular artists who brought energy and excitement to the stage.


Among the artists who entertained the crowd were Loiso, Teddy Makadi, Saint Realest, and Namadingo  who all delivered strong performances.

The organisers said the massive turnout has encouraged them and given them more confidence to continue organising more big entertainment events in the future.

This is a big achievement for the artist and an exciting moment for music fans. The album has 14 tracks and shows Shano Index’s growth and creativity.  The question of why Malawi is still not fully eligible for content monetization on major digital platforms has continued to worry many content creators in the country. While several African countries have already unlocked monetization opportunities, Malawi remains behind, raising concerns among local digital creators. This issue was recently discussed during a meeting involving the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) and some of the country’s notable content creators, including Kelvin Mtambo, Victor Daffrece, Tupochere Kamoto, Nohaata Seven, Alick Chippie Chauwa, and Bright EKCESS Chiligo.
