The song has been produced professionally and is already attracting attention from people who love quality music. Many listeners say the sound and message make it stand out.

Speaking about the new release, Afana Ceez said he made “Timapanga” as a way of paying tribute to a music legend, Annie Matumbi.

He explained that the song was inspired by Annie Matumbi’s classic hit “Chidikhodikho,” which she performed with Vic Marley. The old song talks about real life and the daily struggles people face.

With “Timapanga,” Afana Ceez and Gwamba have delivered a song that mixes modern style with a message that connects with everyday Malawians.
